Question 1

How do I make an ENCOM ID badge?

Accepted Answer

Pick one of the three employee presets or type your own name, title, department, clearance level and badge number. Choose the vertical staff credential or horizontal facility keycard, optionally upload your photo and frame it with the zoom and pan sliders, then click Download to save the front, back or both sides.

Question 2

What resolution are the exported badges?

Accepted Answer

Every export is rendered at 3x pixel density: 960 x 1470 px for the vertical staff credential and 1500 x 945 px for the horizontal keycard, which is suitable for printing on CR-80 sized card stock.

Question 3

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Your photo is read locally with the browser FileReader API and kept only in memory. It is never uploaded to a server, never saved to localStorage and never included in share links.

Question 4

Can I share my badge design?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Share link button copies a URL that encodes your text fields, layout, preset and photo framing. Uploaded photos are excluded for privacy.
